I had great fun with this pattern. I adapted it to make a waistcoat/bolero and it worked out very well. Just did a few decreases for arm area. Great instructions - tassels took some time! LOL but, v. easy to know where to stick them with the "loop". Thanks again, for a great pattern.

I'm only doing this to get rid of my notification. I haven't had the time to make this yet to see how well it will go.

I bought a bundle of patterns from Mermaidcat and I haven't had a chance to do most of them yet, but I wanted to leave a review before the window closes. All of her patterns include extensive instructions and pictures and so far I haven't encountered any errors. Her patterns are usually sized to fit and very intuitive, so you can modify them to fit you as you go, and with most of them it's easy to completely change the yarn weight and gauge as long as you follow the sizing instructions. This one looks pretty unique compared to the others and looks like it'll take a while, but the results will probably be worth it. It's kind of a two-step process where you create a mesh jacket first and then add the fringe sort of like a latch-hook rug. I'm planning to make an outlandishly crazy jacket for my brother. We'll see how it works out.

it's good though i dont understand it
