I cannot express enough how amazingly intricate this pattern is, and the creativity of the design alone warrants purchase and the price. However, I think using a gauge for sizing on this piece is a bit tricky because the pattern is so 'lacy', which then makes sizing a bit off. I would say it leans toward being too wide based on the instructions, so just something to keep in mind as you are working. The pattern still looks good when it turns out a bit big, but it is just a different look. But again, cannot stress enough how amazing this pattern is and how well it is written out. I honestly think the creator should be charging more for it considering how much work it must have been to create it.

The pattern is good and the item came out really well but I did have to adjust the sizing a lot. My bust fits the XL sizing but it was coming out huge by the time I got to the bottom of the bust so I converted to the L sizing (I was even using a lighter weight yarn and my gauge was much smaller than the pattern stated). Luckily it turned out well once I decreased down to the smaller size. The sizing of the centre tie is a little off (short) too but have fixed that. Just be sure to measure as you go!
